A couple weeks ago I was lucky to head to California for a girls weekend with my friends Jenny + Elsie. We had no plans except to hang out at the Ace Hotel, drink some drinks (and coffee), talk a lot, lay by the pool, and basically just unwind. It was glorious.
I snapped quite a few photos in the three days we were there so I wanted to put them into their own spread in my Project Life album. I used my Travelogue kit (available here) and I love the colors of this spread. Feels very happy to me.
I have so many photobooth strips that I've been saving for years and years and years. Only this year did I really overcome my hesitation about including them into my Project Life albums. I always thought that I'd want the full strips later on, but I've decided that they need to go somewhere and this is a great place to house them. If it's a really special one then I'll scan it and save a digital copy.
All the stamps came from my Travelogue kit and I used some of the new Color Theory inks from Studio Calico. I like that these stamp on my photo paper (I like the Kirkland paper that you can buy at Costco.) I really love the new Clear Blue pad.
A row of cards from my Travelogue kit and an Instax mini photo (I have + love the Mini 90 camera) of each of us. Insert lots of heart emoji right here. These girls are the best and I'm thankful for their friendship.
That's a look at my Palm Springs Project Life spread. I'm still hoping to add a lot more full weeks to my album before the end of the year - I have so many more adventures to get documented! See the rest of my 2014 spreads here.
