I'm so, so, so excited to finally get to share my February Papertrey Ink projects!!! :)
I know a lot of you coming from the site are cardmakers, but my first love is scrapbooking so for this round I put those wonderful stamps to good use on some pages. It was really a lot of fun for me and the pages came together so easily with the products.
First up is my favorites... the cupcakes!
Supplies: Dot Spot, Background Basics: Tin Types, Cupcake Collection, Limitless Labels, Background Basics: Text Styles 2, Pretty Pastels, Fresh Snow Twill, Fresh Snow Pigment Ink
I am completely a cupcake queen and in NYC there's no shortage of cupakes ;) For this layout I built the cupcake by stamping the bottom + top with white ink, then going over with a heavier amount of white ink for the fun details like sprinkles. Love how adorable these stamps are!!!
Next up comes a set from my favorites picks...
Supplies: Butterfly Dreams, Asian Fusion, On My Couch, On My Couch Additions, Background Basics: Text Style 2, Limitless Labels, 2008 Bitty Box Basics, Pretty Pastels, New Leaf Ink, Vintage Buttons: Holiday Mix,
These are perfect for a little layout about your home... this photo is from my first day in my new apartment. The different designs of the chairs is too cute!
And last my obsession with butterflies in scrapbooking form...
Supplies: Simple Alphabet, 2008 Bitty Box Basics, 2008 Bitty Dot Basics, New Leaf Ink, True Black Ink, Cream Button Twine, Vintage Buttons: Holiday Mix, Polka Dot Basics, Butterfly Dreams
These butterflies are so beautiful and easy to use! I found the inspiration from this on a card that was posted for the AC challenge. The rainbow of colors just makes me happy :) The photos for this layout come from my friend Chloe, who took them for me back in December... I asked her to take a headshot for me and we put the camera on burst and captured me just being silly me.
This release from Papertrey Ink is so fabulous and I can't wait to use them up more and more :) All of the new products from this release go on sale on the 15th... hope you check them out - they're so awesome!!!
And hopefully these have inspired you a bit and shown you how to use the stamps on layouts! If you are a card maker and enticed just a bit to start scrapbooking, I hope you'll check out my online class about beginning layouts - info is right here. See you again soon with more PTI fun!!! :)
