I’m working on some upcoming projects for Studio Calico and last week I got the chance to play with their new Color Theory ink pads. When I find a good ink pad, I want it in all of the colors and the Color Theory ones come in the most beautiful colors. I like that their palette is bright and trendy.

I created this layout just for fun (while binge watching episodes of Scandal – whoa mama, I’m addicted now!) using the new inks:

I picked up this Heidi Swapp paper at Paper Tales in San Diego and I thought it’d be great for a birthday layout. The inks I used here are Emerald City, Coral Bay, Mint Hint, and Clean Slate. At the top of my wish list for inks is that they stamp directly onto photos without smearing. The Color Theory inks definitely do (YES) but I did notice they stamp slightly darker than when on cardstock.

I really love how vibrant they are! Glad to have these great new inks in my stash. Don’t forget to check out my post with All Ready Memories awesome ink storage as well.

Also, Two Peas in a Bucket is having a storewide 20% off sale – stock up on my Mon Ami collection here.
